School Garden

Students at the Carrington School harvested vegetables from the school garden. The garden was started during Summer School 2016 as a Science enrichment project, and continued into the 2016/2017 school year. Students planted tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, beans, lettuce, radishes and more. The residential facility kitchen included the harvests in the students’ meals. Students were involved from prepping the soil, to starting seeds, planting seedlings, weeding and harvesting.
