In the area of education, we offer evidence-based special education programs across the least restrictive environment continuum. Experienced staffs of teachers, therapists, school psychologists and behavior specialists participate in on-going training to bring the newest innovations to our classrooms. To meet the ever changing instructional needs of the PreK-12 school community we design programs, services and direct support in the following areas: core standards, leadership, assessment, data analysis, instruction, professional development and educational technology. Our team members also welcome the opportunity to work directly with all levels of school personnel to navigate school improvement processes. Geauga County ESC facilitators focus on joint solutions which are evidence-based, customized, and capacity building.
Our resources have expanded to include business and operations solutions. Experienced fiscal service and Human Resources personnel provide temporary and permanent organizational services. Whether you require an interim treasurer, part time payroll assistant, or a full time EMIS coordinator we can staff that position. The complex and fast changing area of employee benefits often demands that organizations review, revise or seek alternative benefit vendors. We can translate this information into meaningful, personalized organizational data. Shared Services include consortium programs, joint transportation expense management, and the on-line auction for purchased services.
The Geauga County Educational Service Center is a long standing member of the Geauga County Family and Children First Council. Our team members serve on both the Multi-Disciplinary and Family Stability Committees. The agency relationships we have developed through this partnership have resulted in many successful grant collaborations and program sponsorships. Developing new initiatives can be expensive and time consuming. Grant development, management and implementation is a strong focus for our organization.
